Dear Sisterfriends,
My hope is that this letter finds you encouraged in your heart, full of empowerment and excited about life. I hope that you are fully aware of the majesty and power that you possess as a woman and that you have stepped out of your past and into being who you KNOW yourself to be at the core. If you don't feel this way right now, I have good news for you!
For 24 years I've wanted to find a way to encourage and inspire women. At first I didn't know exactly what to do or how to go about doing it and I didn't know what to say. I didn't feel "adequate" enough to put my voice into the world for a long time. However in 2006 I began a journey to finding and owning my authentic self. It started with a commitment to myself and a green notebook that I journaled in. Then I found my red notebook from 1983 that contained the blueprint for what I wanted to do so long ago, when I thought everything was possible for me. This was before setbacks and disappointments. When I read that notebook, the plan unfolded and I knew this was a sign that it was time to begin. I started reading and rereading books that were in my library. I reread Simple Abundance, Lit from Within and a host of other books, each giving a nugget of wisdom and encouragement that I was indeed on the right track. Some gave exercises at the end of each chapter. Then I began making up my own exercises for myself. I was amazed at the answers they held for me. I started tweaking my own thinking. I prayed for help from on high that I would be true to myself and the divine path that God appointed for me. A transformation began to take place in my life. I found my voice. I found my courage. I found a way to do what I had always wanted to do: sharing my own journey, life lessons, inspirational writings and encouragement via the Internet to empower other women. I am not an Internet guru, but it doesn't take one to accomplish what I will accomplish...it only takes powerful women like you!

Up until May, I had very little technical knowledge, but when my 11 year old nephew pointed out that if I could create my own business, I could build a website, it made perfect sense to me. I toiled for hours, but I did it! Not only did I build one, I built four others and helped friends to build theirs. I knew I had made a shift. Most important of all is this...I started with the knowledge I had and went from there. That is one of the most powerful life principles I know, start where you are with what you have. You can create ANYTHING from there! You can start over from there! You can reinvent yourself from there!
Together we are building a strong, loving, nurturing and powerful Sisterhood, first on the Internet and then in person. I am reaching out to women, just like you and me and giving them a gentle nudge to be who they really are at the core of their hearts. I am creating a soft place to fall on the days when life has chewed us up and spit us out. I will provide a road map for those of us who may falsely believe that things can never change in life. And I am sharing the common sense, wisdom and accumulated knowledge that each of us brings to the table. I will help deepen the spiritual foundation that we each must stand upon. I am helping women TRANSFORM their lives, reinvent themselves and take their rightful place in the world. |

Metamorphosis is a movement where a woman can find her voice, speak her truth, stand in her power, own her life and KNOW that she will triumph at every thing she touches. Every woman can be strong from the inside out and be a victor. I will help women gain financial empowerment through owning a home, beginning to accumulate wealth, restoring their credit histories and regaining financial integrity. I will teach women how to take charge of their lives. I am starting today, where I am with what I have.
Together, we will touch 100,000 women in 12 months and lives will be transformed. I need your help and the help of your friends and their friends to build this Sisterhood. It is a lofty goal, but women are hurting and hungry for this. I certainly was. Share our site with 10 of your friends and ask them to share it with 10 of their friends. Share your story with me. Share your lessons. Share your dreams. Share your input. Share your wisdom. This is the beginning of something beautiful for us and by us. Together we will make it happen.
Now it's your turn. You must dust off YOUR dreams, take a step of faith, follow your heart and go for it! You must have courage and do the thing you have always wanted to do.
