It’s Time!
Half of the year is already upon us. We made it through! Some days were much better than others. Some days we thought we wouldn’t make it through. Some days we wanted time to stand still and other days we couldn’t wait until the day was over.
Although each day was a gift to us of 24 hours to spend anyway we liked, some days it didn’t look like it. Some days didn’t feel like a gift at all. Some days we forgot about all that we have to be thankful for…air in our lungs, great health, family, a sound mind, gainful employment, another opportunity to work at it and get it right and most of all, someone watching over us.
If you review the past 150 or so days, how many did you truly make the most of? How well did you handle what you created or experienced? What have you learned so far? What have you accomplished? What have you deferred? What are you most proud of? What can you do better the next time around?
This message is just to remind you that each day we are privileged to open our eyes is a 24 hour gift to us. These hours are what make up our life. We are being granted more time to do what we know we must do what we keep putting off and to complete our divine assignment. You know what I mean…the tiny whisper that repeats itself from time to time, hoping that you will listen.
The notes on the napkin or that piece of paper that you keep coming across that details your silently held dream. The thing that wants to drum louder in your life. The thing that brings warmth to your soul whenever you take the time out to “daydream” about it. The thing that deep down inside you know you are capable of doing, but you keep shoving the thought down out of your mind. Somewhere within the voice of doubt says you must be out of your mind to think that YOU could do this. Dismiss that voice and listen to the “tiny voice within” that says YOU CAN!
You can’t wait any longer… IT’S TIME! Today, this moment, right now, where you are, with what you have. Just make one step and then another and another and before you know it, what you “thought about” in your mind, and wrote down on a piece of paper starts to become a reality as you take action to bring it about. It’s that simple. Just take a step. Even a baby step. But take one. There’s not going to ever be the ideal time. Not ever. Now is the only time that you have, so begin! Sure you will have to remove the thoughts of doubt; you will have to claw through fear to make steps of faith. You must take steps despite how you feel or what it looks like. Keep on stepping!!!!
You are traveling on a divine path. You may not realize it yet, but you are. It may not look like it, but you are. From where you are right now, it may look like chaos all around, a rocky road, an uphill climb, or that you have too much to contend with to follow your dream. Your station in life right now does not really matter; you are still called to do something. And if your mind could think it up and you could write it on a piece of paper, that means you are capable of bringing it to life with God’s help.
Would you believe that every single step you have taken has prepared you for what you secretly hold in your heart to do? Every setback, every heartache, every triumph, every disappointment, every failure, every tear, every smile. No one lets us in on the secret until we accomplish our dream and look back . It is only then we find out what we call punishment, hardship and the school of hard knocks is really just “ the training program!” It was what was needed to bring out the very best and equip us with the tools we needed to get there. IT’S TIME!
You don’t have the luxury of waiting any more. You’ve heard it, you know it; you just haven’t done it. You’ve got to be on your way and answer the call on your life. And why is it so critical that you do this? Because of the people who are waiting on you who need the help that only you can provide. Can you believe that people are already waiting, maybe in despair or feeling helpless and hopeless and that there is no way out of their situation? And all the while it is you who has the solution to their problem. You have that answer that only you are uniquely qualified to provide. It’s why you were put here…to make that difference for humankind! It's why you are reading this right now.
Find your courage. Get moving! IT’S TIME!
